Be prepared to begin hiking about 9:45 AM. The hike will be about 4+ miles with significant
elevation gain. We'll go down Saltzman to below Leif Erickson and then wind our way back
up to the parking area utilizing Maple, Wildwood and maybe Wireline (time permitting) trails and Fire lane 5.

Come and enjoy a great weekend at our beautiful Nesika Lodge. We provide
the food and lodging and you donate a little work in the great out of doors.
We will be working on putting a new roof on the women's dorm. There will
be work for all abilities; keeping workers hydrated, supplied with shingles,
nails, etc. This will be the main focus. We could use people with rope experience.
We need 4 ropes and sit harnesses. We could also use 4 brake carabeeners.
We have all the safety equipment in place. If we have enough people we will
continue on our previous projects; leveling out the road between the Green
gate and Multnomah Creek. Spreading some gravel, trimming brush. We may also
work on road between Larch MTN road and Green gate if we have enough people
to decrease the brush hanging over the road. We will continue with the front
deck work under the coordination of Merrill Hugo. There is still wood to
be split down on the playground. We would also like to start the development
of the kids area. Kids are very welcome at the lodge and could use an area
to call their own. Come share your knowledge. Come and enjoy our beautiful
lodge and join in the communal work with friends.
Katriona will again be cooking for us. Thank you goobs Katriona. You are very appreciated.
Meeting times: Gate on Larch MT road will be open at 9:00 Friday morning, noon on Friday, 8:00 PM on Friday and
